What We Take
If you are not sure what you have or what grade it carries, write to us anyway. We will tell you in the first conversation whether it is material we can take.
Gold ore and gold concentrate. We also look at tailings and stockpiled material case by case.
Small lots are fine. You do not need to accumulate a full shipment before working with us.
Arequipa, Ayacucho, Áncash, La Libertad, Nazca and surrounding areas. If your area is not listed, ask us.
We arrange haulage to our warehouse with a registered transporter and the paperwork in order.
The Grade
Sampling is done with you present, or with whoever you appoint. Three identical samples come out of it.
Assay
The assay is done by an outside laboratory, not by our own lab. You get a copy of the result.
If your assay and ours do not agree, the third sample is opened at an umpire laboratory and that result stands for both of us.
Payment
Before you deliver a single tonne we give you the offer in writing. It shows dry weight, moisture, grade, any deduction and the final amount. If something does not add up, we discuss it then, not afterwards.
In writing, line by line. We will walk you through every number if you want.
Bank transfer with proof of payment. We do not deal in cash.
Payment goes out in two parts, the first within days of the material being received and weighed.
We issue a proper invoice, so you stay in order with SUNAT.
Start to Finish
Tell us what you have, how much, and where from. If you already have an assay, send it. If not, we still talk.
We arrange the sampling with you present. Three samples, outside laboratory, a copy of the result for you.
You get the full projected settlement. If you are happy with it, we sign the purchase agreement.
The material comes to our warehouse and payment goes out by bank on the agreed dates.
Before We Start
We do not buy material without proven origin. We will ask for your RUC or a current REINFO registration, and the transport documentation for the mineral. We know it is one more errand, but it is the only way both of us stay safe and you can still be selling next year.
If you are missing a document, say so up front. In several cases we have been able to tell a miner what he was missing before he wasted the trip.
WHO WE ARE
Andean Tek S.A.C. is a registered Peruvian company with its own warehouse and its own people in the field. The material we buy is consolidated here and exported to refineries abroad. You are welcome to come and see the warehouse and the scale any time, without calling ahead.
